Hypothetical Scenario: What would you do if you were a student trapped inside a school with a shooter?

1. Call the police and tell them to hurry
2. Climb the attic. My school’s attic is not really an attic, but rather a labyrinth of a lot of beams. Plus there’s little light and the “entrance” is rather hard to find. I’d go there to hide and wait for the police.
3. Added to that I would look for a weapon on the way to the attic or in the attic itself.
4. To get to the attic you need to climb a about 4m high wall with metal bars plunged into it, looking a little like these:

It ends in a square hole about 2ftx2ft. When the shooter tries to climb up to me I’ll wait till they’re almost there and then I’d drop something heavy on them or hit them with something very hard. They’ll probably fall off the ladder and land on pure concrete 4m below. If they’re k.o. I’d climb after them, take their weapon, tie them and calmly wait for the police while standing a good deal away pointing my weapon at them.
