Martian feature familiar to ones we find on Earth

Similar features on mars are found on earth: natural features such as: rivers, valleys, glaciers etc.

On mars, high class version of the earthly features are found. by high class, we mean natural feautres that are strange as compared to those found on earth. 

This picture is one of those high class features: it shows the high class locales at mars' south pole 

Other strange feautres include: dry ice as polar cap composed of carbon dioxide, this is not the case in earth.
