A steadily warming planet is causing a biological spring to occur as much as 20 days earlier than normal — throwing off natural cycles that have existed for millennia.

So this study is able to go back to the 1950's? Is that it? Late 1950's? Or does it go all the way back to 1951? It is the definition of disingenuous to mention the alteration of activities that go back "millennia"on a study that doesn't go back 70 years. Silly.
